LESUEUR, GNARABUP
A resilient coastal landscape that transforms a challenging site through sculptural planting, natural stone and seamless outdoor living. Perched within the challenging coastal environment of Gnarabup, this garden demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform a constrained site into a highly functional and immersive landscape. Working with significant level changes and harsh coastal conditions, the design introduced a refined coastal planting palette that extends beyond traditional seaside gardens.
COASTAL LANDSCAPE
Sculptural olive trees provide structure and height, while layers of hardy planting soften the landscape and create a seamless connection between the home, pool house and pool.
Large natural boulders were used to retain levels and become a defining feature of the garden, anchoring the design within its rugged setting. Meandering pathways weave through the planting, connecting recreation spaces around the pool and lawn while enhancing the sense of discovery throughout the site.
