A layered Mediterranean-inspired garden designed for seasonal beauty, coastal bushland resilience and effortless connection to place. Inspired by Mediterranean and perennial planting styles combined with the formality of large, homestead gardens, the landscape combines sweeping drifts of Pennisetum 'Nafray', seasonal bursts of Verbena bonariensis, and masses of hardy grasses and groundcovers that thrive in the site conditions while statement trees provide shade, seasonal interest and a sense of permanence.
PERRENIAL MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN
Carefully positioned pathways and formalised stairs and lighting create clear connections between the home and garden.
Every element was considered in response to the site's varied topography, soils and microclimates, ensuring the garden not only looks beautiful but performs well over time.
